The Parade of Sail normally takes the Tall Ships on a tour of the south coast passing Gosport and the Isle of Wight.
Hundreds of thousands of people line the coast to watch the ships as they sail up the Solent. The Red Arrows usually performed a flypast above Portsmouth Harbour.
