Your Exclusive 15-Minute Pathfinder Helicopter Adventure

Get ready to take to the skies on our Pathfinder Helicopter Flight, an exclusive 15-minute adventure exploring the skies above Surrey. You and up to two guests will climb aboard one of our sleek Robinson R44 helicopters for a unique, pilot-led insight into the world of aviation — not just sightseeing, but a fascinating look behind the scenes of how pilots navigate the busy skies around Redhill and Gatwick’s airspace.

Discover What It’s Really Like to Fly

This isn’t your average helicopter ride. The Pathfinder experience lifts the lid on the inner workings of real-world flying. As your professional pilot guides you through the local Visual Reporting Points (VRPs) used for entering and exiting Redhill’s airspace, you’ll gain a whole new appreciation for the precision and skill behind every flight.

During your journey, you’ll spot key VRPs such as:

  • Buckland Reservoir

  • The M23/M25 interchange

  • Godstone Village

  • South Godstone Railway Station

From these vantage points, enjoy clear panoramic views of the Surrey countryside and the thrill of flying within Gatwick’s Control Zone (CTR) — one of the UK’s busiest pieces of airspace.

For Aviation Enthusiasts and Curious Minds Alike

If you’ve ever wondered what those aviation acronyms like ATC, ATZ, CTA, and CTR really mean, this is your chance to find out firsthand. Your pilot will explain how air traffic control communication works, what’s required to navigate complex controlled airspace, and how pilots manage entry and exit procedures from one of the South East’s busiest aerodromes.

It’s the perfect experience for:

  • Aviation enthusiasts who want to see how real pilots operate

  • Aspiring pilots considering flight training at Redhill

  • Curious adventurers who want more than a simple sightseeing trip
