Your experience starts with around 30 minutes of ground instruction. One of our friendly, experienced instructors will guide you through the basics — how helicopters fly, what the controls do, and how you’ll work together in the cockpit. Even if you’ve never flown before, you’ll feel at ease and ready to take on this exciting challenge.
Then it’s time to head to the Guimbal Cabri G2, one of the most advanced and safest training helicopters in the world. Once airborne, you’ll spend about 25 minutes flying over the local area, and your instructor will gradually introduce you to each of the flight controls. Most students get to try all of them during the flight — including the cyclic, collective, and pedals — for a truly immersive hands-on experience.
If you want even more flight time, our Explorer Lesson offers around 40 minutes in the air and 30 minutes in the classroom. It’s the perfect next step after your first discovery flight, giving you more time to refine your control and feel the magic of helicopter flight.
